Prague

We made it to Prague on the plane from London. Very early in the morning (6:30) but erik and I still suffered from jet lag a bit I suppose and woke up around 2:30. At least we got to watch some tv and have a good breakfast.
When we arrived we struggled to find the hostel but we did it with the help of erik's gps. hahah. The hostel is quite cute. We have a room to ourselves which is nice. They are clean but a bit noisy as we are right by the road and rail.
We walked around the town and got some pizza...traditional Czech cuisine. We retired very early as we were pretty much slurring all of our words and tripping on the stone walk ways. Prague has amazing architecture. Unfortuanatly we can't load the pictures today.
Today we are off to go see the prague castle and tour around a bit more. Looks like a beautiful day here. We have one more day at the hostel and then we will head down to Cesky Krumlov.

Safe in London

We made it here safely without any problems. After getting about an hour - two hours of sleep we decided to book a hotel room at Stansted airport. The rooms are quite nice. There is a wine display in the front lounge where a acrobat in a harness does tricks in this glass case. Very interesting.

Although we are deliriously tired now we are still excited to start the sites. Tomorrow morning we will fly into Prague around 9:30.

We are thinking of everyone at home!

Night Before Departure

...we tried to have an erik and erin party.  I spilt a glass of lemonade on his mouse and down his desk.  What a party.  I'm lucky erik is such a good sport.  I think you all can attest to how much patience I demand sometimes ;)
Everything is going well on the home front.  Bags packed, clothes laid out for tomorrow, breakfast ready to go, our to-do list....and erik trying to get good gps maps to take.  I cut the experimenation time so I could write this and try to let you all know what is happening to us...every...single....well often enough I hope!
We have posted a map with a tentative itinerary if you would like to take a look.  We will try to update it as we go...stay tuned!
